Meet the babies
RosaBaby is Frankie LaPace and Alexandra Nader. We are two mixed-race content creators who write, produce, and perform our own work.
We’ve created 7 digital shorts and appeared in a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards web-commercial. Our short film Be Sexy won the Audience Choice Award for Comedy at Out WebFest 2017 and our sketch Pick A Pie won first place in the Give ‘Em Hill Short Film Contest judged by James Franco and Jenny Bicks.
We've both received an Associates Degree at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, but you can call us "doctor." We are studying sketch writing at Upright Citizen’s Brigade where Alex is currently in the work-study internship program and Frankie is the recipient of the diversity scholarship.
We've never received a cease and desist or a restraining order but we're confident this will happen very soon.
Alexandra Nader
Alex, a Venezuelan/American actor (or Lebanese/American actor - depending on which parent you ask), has worked with Mas Méjor, Broadway Video, The Daily Dot, Nickelodeon, and Captain Morgan. She was recently the featured comic on WhoHaHa, a digital platform co-founded by Elizabeth Banks, that shines a spotlight on funny women. She is in post-production for her short-film SIDE PIECE. This will mark her screenwriting debut!
Alex is a PROUD member of The Story Pirates, a New York ensemble of actors and teachers that tour public schools and perform plays written by students! Other than that, she loves Charmed and hopes to one day learn to grocery shop like a real adult.
FRANKIE LAPACE
Frankie is a Puerto Rican/Italian homosexual who was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. At 16, Frankie became a touring member of Planned Parenthood's Source Theater, performing in public schools all over Florida.
Frankie is the co-writer and lead actor of 'When the Party Ends' n which was accepted into the Cannes Short Film Corner 2015 and was the lead in 'The Surf Report' a short film directed by Courtney Powell of Comedy Central. Frankie's sketch, 'Taylor Swift Teaches NYC Vocab Words' was featured on LOGO's blog, NewNowNext, which is very exciting if you're gay. Frankie is a Storytelling Coach for the Entrepreneurs in Training Summer Program at Barnard College and a proud member of Blogologues, a live show where actors perform the internet (Yelp reviews, Craigslist Missed Connections, etc.) word for word.
Fun fact: Frankie loves dachshunds and corn.
